Robert Mark Hecek FAPI
Managing DirectorRobert Mark Hecek began his consulting valuation practice some 20 years ago as a contract research valuer Australia-wide for Clayton Robards, specialising in Company takeovers.
Work involved asset valuations and restricted access assessments in all capital cities of Australia.
The work specialised predominantly in large land developments (i.e. Sunshine Coasts Kawana Waters), cold storage, shopping centres, multi-level commercial, Gold Coast high-rise, residential and industrial etc.
This contract work provided a good grounding for the present practice with invaluable experience being gained in a wide range of property areas.
Then followed a 2-year contract with M.G.I.C.A. as check valuer for residential work all over the Sydney metropolitan area, further broadening the business expertise in the Sydney market.
Robert has been elected to the A.P.I. NSW Divisional Council and appointed by the National President as the chair of the National Professional Indemnity Committee. The main task is to liaise with the Federal Government in preparing over 7,000 strong membership in meeting the new requirements of legislation aimed at capping liability to all valuers. Robert has recently been re-elected for a third term on the API NSW Divisional Council and now holds the position of NSW President. Robert is also a member of the NSW API marketing committee, also National Chairman of the Professional Indemnity Insurance Committee as well as a chairman of the Banking and Finance Committee, and part of the property - pro development commitee.
In 2001 we opened a new building in Gladesville where the company now operates.
Robert is a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute.
Michael Anello FAPI
General ManagerMichael Anello joined the firm a few years later after working with major financial institutions and an international property consultant for 9 years, where he gained extensive experience with residential and commercial property in the property management, agency and valuation fields.
He commenced his career with T. & G. Mutual Life Society's Property Division as a Property Manager for a short time before transferring to the Valuation and Professional Division.
Michael played an important role in the valuation of National Mutual's large diversified property portfolio, valuing residential properties, commercial buildings, retail centres and industrial complexes for the Company's various Funds and Property Trust. He left National Mutual as a Portfolio Valuer with joint responsibility for the valuation of the entire portfolio plus proposed purchases and sales.
After being with National Mutual for more than 6 years, Michael joined Debenham Tewson International and was involved with all categories of property valuation including professional real estate consultancy.
Michael was specifically involved with a variety of major development and investment companies including Ampol, Condux Developments, State Superannuation Board, Advance Asset Management and the Commonwealth Bank (valuing bank premises for asset purposes).
Michael is the General Manager of Valuecorp and specialises in the valuation of prestige residential, commercial, industrial and retail properties.
Michael is a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute and member of the examiners for the NSW API, testing new applicants for competency and valuation skills.
